All the pages and information for the Tyneside Stop the War Coalition website are now hosted on an account with sdf-eu.org, a public access Unix system based in Texas, USA. More background for this system is at the main sdf.org site.

Maintenance and updates

The website maintainer can be reached via the feedback form, using the link at the bottom of each page. The hitop HTML pre-processor is used to assist in the writing of this website, and the PHP-based gallery software is used for the photo gallery section.

Regular updates of leaflets, demos and other details are enabled by the use of a specially-written Common Gateway Interface (CGI) script. The script also allows website users to register their email address for automatic notification of updates. This script is written in the Perl language and licensed under the GNU General Public License. The script extracts the data for updates from a MySQL database. A copy of the current version of the CGI script is available for download, and may be freely used by anyone maintaining a similar website. Please note that it is still unfinished and subject to extensive revision, and that it currently has no documentation.
